Ben Carson Suspends Presidential Campaign

And then there were four Republican candidates left. Ben Carson announced on Friday that he’s suspending his 2016 Presidential campaign.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland has more from the Conservative Political Action Conference:

After saying he “see’s no path forward to the nomination,” Dr. Ben Carson is officially ending his campaign for President of the United States:

(Carson) “Now that I am leaving the campaign trail.”

The retired neurosurgeon launched his campaign in May of last year and enjoyed strong poll numbers early on, but later in the campaign, his support started to wane, he eventually had to lay off staff.

Carson says he’s leaving the campaign trail, as for his future, he’s taking a job as leader of a group called My Faith Votes, which seeks to inspire Christians to go to the polls.
