Fans in St. Louis Burn Their Rams Jerseys
Now that St. Louis has lost its NFL team, fans are getting rid of their Rams gear.
FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:
Rams fans feeling burned have set fire to their jerseys:
(Fans) “Yeah… You know I’m just disappointed, I really am… It hurts, it hurts, it happened so fast…”
This man says St. Louis is a good sports town:
(Fan) “I just don’t understand why.”
The Rams are moving back to Los Angeles next season, the NFL team unable to work out a new stadium deal… But not all jilted fans are burning their stuff: Bars and restaurants and stores have offers to donate the old gear:
(Man) “Even to go to a shelter, put the clothes to good use, you know.”
He owns Crown Candy Kitchen and says while the Rams leaving St. Louis is sad:
(Man) “Life goes on, if that’s the worst thing in my life, I’ve got a pretty good life. Yeah, we’ll be okay.”
