Hawaiian Airlines Finishes On Top For Scheduled Flights Arriving On Time

    Hawaiian Airlines coming out on top for on-time performance, according to rankings by the federal government, which considers a flight on time if it arrives within 14 minutes ahead of schedule.

    Hawaiian Airlines on schedule nearly 94% of the time. In second place Delta Airlines, with 89.5%.

    Budget Airlines, Spirit, and Frontier had the worst on-time performance and highest complaint rates.

    In general U.S. Airlines are doing better at sticking to the schedule than a year ago, but more passengers are filing complaints against the carriers… Those up 56% from a year earlier.

    The Transportation Department says however, that thousands of travelers complain directly to the airlines without ever contacting the government.
