Too Many Children Are Being Exposed to Second Hand Smoke
Yet another study suggests too many children are exposed to so-called “second hand smoke” which puts their health at risk.
FOX’s Eben Brown reports:
A study now being reviewed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggest that fewer kids, specifically teenagers, are smoking tobacco products, like cigarettes.
But that same study reveals more and more non-smoking kids, often those of middle school age, are being inundated with second hand smoke. The particles exhaled by tobacco users that emit odor and other things.
Their study uses data collected through 2013 and published in the Journal Pediatrics. Physicians believe second hand smoke is a cause of respiratory illness in children.
