President Obama Set to Deliver Final State of the Union

The President delivers his final State of the Union Address tonight.

FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

In his seventh and final State of the Union Address, the President will try to find some common ground with the Republican-led Congress.

White House Spokesman Josh Earnest outlined the President’s goals for the speech that marks his final year in office:

(Earnest) “To convey his optimism about the future of the country and to convey his optimism about the ability of this country to confront the challenges ahead of us, but also to capitalize the opportunities that are there for the taking.”

The President is hoping to work with Congress on criminal justice reform, closing the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and ratifying the Trans Pacific Trade Deal.
