‘Affluenza’ Teen Being Held in Mexico

The so-called ‘affluenza teen’ from Texas is now being held in Mexico, where he and his mother were discovered. She’s now in a Los Angeles jail, charged with helping a felon to flee…

FOX’s Eben Brown reports:

18-year-old Ethan Couch from Fort Worth, Texas, is now being held in Mexico at an immigration facility waiting for an extradition hearing.

He’s the once-underage teen, who killed four people while driving drunk and only got probation after his lawyer claimed his affluent parents didn’t raise him right… But he’s suspected of drinking in violation of probation and he and his mother fled South of the border to evade police.

Mom was sent back to the U.S. this morning. She’s being held in L.A. for now, on a million dollars bond.
