Senator Graham on the importance of doing well in the New Hampshire primary.
“Can finish in the top tier in New Hampshire? If I do, I will win South Carolina. But I am going to make an assessment here, I have to do well outside of South Carolina. I have to prove to myself and others that I can breakthrough in New Hampshire. John McCain has an ad on television and radio in New Hampshire, saying Lindsey Graham is the best qualified to be commander-in-chief. He won in 2000 and 2008. If I can raise the money and hang in there, I think my message over time will break through. I am doing it the New Hampshire way. But if I don’t move my numbers, if I can’t get traction in New Hampshire, I’ll have to reassess. But breaking through in New Hampshire makes me the odds on favorite in South Carolina then I am in the final four.”
