It’s off to Phoenix International Raceway for the final race of the eliminator round of the Chase, before the final race of the season.
FOX News’ Kirstin McNary gives you the lowdown in this week’s “Fox in the Fast Lane”:
Seven drivers will be feeling the heat in the valley of the sun, as three spots are up for grabs before the final race of the season in Homestead-Miami.
Kevin Harvick has dominated at Phoenix with seven career wins…
(Harvick) “I think if you’re going to have to go one place in that scenario… I think that would be the place that we would pick. So, hopefully we don’t have to do that, but if we do, couldn’t ask for a better place to have to do it.”
The bubble could burst on Joey Logano, who must win to advance to the final four. The victim of an intentional wreck in Martinsville and bad luck in Texas has all but ended Logano’s quest for a NASCAR title, but the driver of the 22 Ford is staying positive…
(Logano) “I feel like we need to go into every race and win, so nothing changes for us, our mindsets always the same. We keep it simple.”
Logano has not had much success at Phoenix, with just two top-five finishes and no trips to Victory Lane.
