NASCAR Drivers To Take On Talladega
It’s the big one at the “Big One”… Talladega, as eleven drivers race for seven spots to see who will advance to the third round of The Chase.
FOX News Radio’s Kirstin McNary gives you the lowdown in this week’s “FOX in the Fast Lane”:

The Chase field will be down to eight after this weekend’s race at Talladega Superspeedway.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. is part of a group of four drivers who need to win if they want to advance, and Junior knows he may not control his fate despite a history of success at Talladega.
(Earnhardt Jr.) “Run hard. Not going to be worried about it. It’s either going to work out or it’s not. And if it’s our turn to make it through and get to the next round we will. We’re going to run hard and try to do the job we’re supposed to do.”
Stewart-Haas driver Kurt Busch appears to have his slot secured to the next round, but he’s not taking anything for granted.
(Busch) “Last year we we didn’t make it out of the first round. And so you hope that you’ve got two good finishes to rely on and that you can absorb a bump and a scrape in Talladega and still advance.”
And more good news for Busch, as SHR signed their star driver to a contract extension and announced that Monster Energy will be his new primary sponsor starting next week in Martinsville.
