Dentist Who Killed Cecil The Lion Returns To Work
The Minnesota dentist, vilified after killing a beloved lion in Zimbabwe, is returning to work.
FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:
Dr. Walter Palmer was greeted by a handful of protesters but even more TV cameras as the suburban Minneapolis dentist headed back to work today after about six weeks off the job amid a global backlash over the killing of Cecil the lion. Officials in Zimbabwe say the lion was lured out of a national refuge and they want Palmer extradited and charged. Though the doctor says he acted legally, relying on professional guides when he shot the lion with a bow and arrow.
