Obama Orders Flags To Half-Staff For Chattanooga Victims
President Obama has ordered the White House flag lowered to half-staff in honor of the the five military members killed in Chattanooga. He’s been criticized for not doing it sooner.

The U.S. flag here and at federal and military sites around the world will fly at half-staff for the rest of the week. President Obama making that order after honoring the five service members killed by a shooter last week in Chattanooga.
(President Obama) “As a grateful nation we must stand up for them and honor them now and forever.”
President Obama recalling those victims during a speech to a national conference of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell ordered flags at the Capitol to fly at half-staff.
