Money Makeover: Woman Will Be Featured On $10 Bill, Treasury Says

    There’s a change coming… for some money in the U.S.

    FOX News Radio’s Kirstin McNary explains:

    The face of the new $10 bill will be… A woman.

    Treasury Secretary Jack Lew revealing the money makeover, saying in a statement it will be someone “notable”… a, quote – “Champion for our inclusive democracy”.

    To that end, the Treasury is asking Americans to weigh in on what democracy means to them.

    The currency is getting the overhaul mainly to prevent counterfeiting.

    The new ten is expected to be unveiled in 2020, the 100th anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment, which gave American women the right to vote.
