Chicago Blackhawks Win Stanley Cup

The Chicago Blackhawks have won another hockey championship.

FOX News Radio’s Ron Flatter reports:

Coach Joel Quenneville says this never gets old.

(Quenneville) ”It’s the greatest feeling in the world and, you know, once you do it once you can’t wait to do it again.”

(Emrick) “For the third time in six years, the Blackhawks are Stanley Cup champions!”

Mike Emrick calling the final seconds on NBC of the Blackhawks’ 2-0 win over Tampa Bay in Game Six of the National Hockey League Championship Series.

Durable defenseman Duncan Keith scored the game’s first goal and was named the playoffs’ “Most Valuable Player”.

(Keith) “It was by far our hardest series and we found a way and… super proud to be part of this team and this group of guys.”

It was the first time the Blackhawks won a championship on home ice since 1938.
