Amtrak trains are once again running in and out of Philadelphia for the first time since last week’s deadly derailment.
FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers has more:
— with Mayor Michael Nutter there to see them off.
At New York’s Penn Station, this man says he’s not worried.
(Passenger) “Not at all actually… because with the added attention, I think this is going to be a very smooth ride.”
Regional commuter service has also resumed.
Federal regulators have ordered Amtrak to expand a speed-control system in the crash area.
Amtrak President Joseph Boardman took part in a service at the crash site Sunday night to honor the eight who died.
About 20 of those hurt in the crash remain in Philadelphia hospitals.
