5-Year-Old Is Billed For Missing Kid’s Birthday Party
A child’s birthday party turns into a potential courtroom battle in Britain.

Five-year-old Alex Nash from Plymouth, England was supposed to be going to his schoolmate’s birthday party at a dry ski slope. But, his parents realized he was double-booked and was supposed to be with his grandparents on the same day.
So, he missed the party.
A few weeks later, five-year-old Alex returning from school with an invoice handed over by the mother of the birthday boy… demanding around 25 dollars for what the bill calls… a “no-show fee”. Alex’s parents say they’re being threatened with court if they don’t pay.
The mother who sent the invoice saying Alex’s parents should have let her know beforehand.
