FOX News Radio reporters across the country continue to track the latest Ebola developments.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown, Rachel Sutherland, Steve Taylor, and Jared Halpern have the latest:

I’m Eben Brown in Dallas, where Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital is currently not caring for a patient with Ebola, having sent its two infected nurses elsewhere in the country to be treated. The hospital’s been criticized for its handling of the cases, and that’s scared off some Dallas residents…

(Resident) ”Presby would not be on the top of my list to go to. No, it would not be.”

As reports come that an employee who may have handled Ebola lab specimens is now on a Caribbean cruise. Carnival has isolated her and she is not showing any symptoms.

I’m Rachel Sutherland in Atlanta.

Staffers and students at Emory University Hospital say they’re hopeful Amber Vinson will be cured, as doctors here have successfully treated other patients who contacted the killer virus in West Africa.

(Locals) “It seems to be a little bit mixed with the emotions that people have. Some people are a little bit nervous.//I think we have the resources and we should be helping people.”

Emory University Hospital in Atlanta is one of a handful of U.S. hospitals with specialized bio-containment units which are equipped to deal with a killer virus like Ebola.

I’m Steve Taylor in Washington.

Republicans in Congress pressure the Obama administration to ban travel from the three Ebola countries.

(Congressman Steve Scalise) “Is the White House considering a travel ban?”

(CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden) “I can’t speak for the White House.”

(Congressman Steve Scalise) “Do you know if they’ve ruled out a travel ban?”

(CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden) “I can’t speak for the…”

(Congressman Steve Scalise) “Have you had conversations with them about it?”

(CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden) “We’ve discussed the issue of travel.”

Dr. Thomas Frieden says with a ban, sick people might come to the U.S. through other countries, making them harder to identify.

There’s no philosophical objection to limiting travel to or from West Africa, President Obama says, rather experts tell him…

(President Obama) “That a travel ban is less effective than the measures we’re currently instituting.”

Officials here have said while several agencies are involved in containing the spread of Ebola in the U.S. and Africa, all of those agencies have clear lines of responsibility.

(President Obama) “It may be appropriate for me to appoint an additional person.”
