The White House has confirmed the latest beheading video from ISIS is authentic.

(President Obama)”Sphere of influence, its effectiveness, its financing…its…its military capabilities…to the point where it is a manageable problem.”
The President emphasized having a regional strategy when it comes to dealing with ISIS.

The Obama administration is vowing justice for two murdered American journalists.

Vice President Joe Biden says the United States will chase ISIS to the gates of Hell… until they are brought to justice.
(Vice President Biden) ”As a nation, we’re united. And when people harm Americans, we don’t retreat.”
Secretary of State John Kerry also vowing to track down those responsible for the deaths of James Foley and Steven Sotloff.
(Kerry) ”It’s a punch to the gut.”

The nation’s counterterrorism chief says Islamic State terrorists are experts not only at slaughter but at social media.
FOX News Radio’s Steve Taylor reports from Washington:
The group called ISIS and sometimes ISIL is very skilled at using the Internet to raise money and recruit fighters in Syria and Iraq, and to inspire terrorists elsewhere. Matt Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, says that skill is the group’s main threat to the U.S. today.
(Olsen) “An ISIL sympathizer, perhaps motivated by online propaganda could conduct a limited, self-directed attack here at home with little or no warning.”
Olsen says there’s no indication of an organized plot against the U.S. now, but the potential is there.
