Hamas rejecting a proposed cease-fire with Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warning Hamas on rejecting the proposal.
FOX News Radio’s Kimberly Adams reports from Cairo:
The Egyptian plan was supposed start this morning with a cease-fire, but Hamas has already fired dozens of rockets so far today .
Israel had agreed to the plan, but warned Hamas the military would escalate attacks on the Gaza strip if they didn’t sign on. Israel denies a Hamas claim it fired a new airstrike.
Hamas is complaining the deal offers no tangible achievements, but didn’t close the door on possible negotiations.
Almost 200 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have died in the last week of fighting.
