Two Killed In Shooting At Navy Base In Virginia
There has been a deadly shooting at a Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia.
FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports from Washington:
Just before midnight last night shots were fired at the Naval Station in Norfolk involving…
(Baker) “One mail sailor and one male suspect. The incident occurred at Pier One.”
…Aboard the Destroyer USS Mahan. Navy spokeswoman Beth Baker says a male civilian shot and killed a sailor and security forces responded, killing the suspect. No other circumstances of the shooting or whether the civilian had permission to be aboard the ship. But the Navy tells us the scene is secure. No other injuries reported. The base — the largest Naval installation in the world — was briefly put on lock-down. The shooting is under investigation.
