What is Detroit is cooking up that could end up in your driveway someday? And how could ho-hum December auto sales be good news for you?
FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper has the answers in our weekly look at the industry, “FOX Wheels“:
It’s FOX Wheels.
I’m here in Detroit for the big auto show to get a first hand look at what you might be driving in a few years.
Of special interest: the new Ford Mustang, F-150 and the 2015 Chevy Corvette Stingray.

Car makers this year will have to work hard for your money and you might be in for a bargain.
GM, Toyota and Volkswagen, last month, saw their sales fall from a year earlier. They’ll have to fight with Ford and Honda, who’ve been offering discounts.
GM VP Kurt McNeil:
(McNeil) “Competitors are still gonna be very aggressive depending upon segments and closeout of certain model years. We’re going to stay disciplined but we’re going to be competitive too.”

Speaking of in-car-seration– Stanley Wrice of Chicago spent 30 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.
With his conviction overturned he’s asked what’s different since his recent release:
(Wrice) “Looking at these cars and how small they got they look like toys.”
Wrice says he’s used to the big boats made back in the 60’s and 70’s.
In Detroit with FOX Wheels, I’m Jennifer Keiper, FOX News Radio.
