Federal Judge Rules NSA Phone Surveillance Is Legal
A federal judge in New York weighing in on Uncle Sam’s monitoring of our phone calls and our emails.
FOX News Radio’s Steve Taylor reports from Washington:
It is legal and Constitutional and may continue… that’s the ruling by a federal judge in New York about the NSA’s data collection program. The American Civil Liberties Union says the surveillance violates privacy, free speech and free association rights, but Federal District Court Judge William Pauley is dismissing the ACLU’s lawsuit. The judge says, sure, the NSA vacuums up information about virtually every telephone call to, from, or within the United States, but he calls that surveillance the government’s counter-punch against al Qaeda.
