Mourning Mandela [VIDEO]
Celebrations continue on the streets of Johannesburg as thousands honor the memory of the late Nelson Mandela.
FOX News Radio’s Emily Wither reports from Johannesburg:
Here in the black township of Soweto, it feels like a bit of a party outside Mandela’s former home. This singing, dancing and foot stamping is a sign of respect.
For the first black President– a man who is often called the father of the nation. This street in a poor black neighborhood is actually the only street in the world that was once home to two Nobel Peace Prize winners. Both fighters of apartheid– Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Celebrations for Mandela’s life are expected to continue here for some time.
