Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect In Court
The accused Boston Marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev made his first appearance in court on Wednesday.
FOX News Radio’s Hank Weinbloom reports:
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was shackled and wearing an orange prison jumpsuit in court. Victims of the Marathon bombing and family members were there, as were some supporters of Tsranaev. One woman wearing a T-shirt with his picture on it.
They heard him plead not guilty to 30 counts, including using weapons of mass destruction — the two bombs at the Marathon that killed three people and injured more than 200 others — and then three days later, killing an MIT police officer. Tsarnaev’s brother Tamerlan was killed as they tried to escape. The charges against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev could carry the death penalty.
