LA City Council Bans Homeless Encampments Near Schools
LA City Council bans homeless encampments near schools and daycares and get this, it was met with an uproar.
Only in California! I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
It’s not often California Democrats make common sense decisions but I’ll give credit where it’s due.
This week LA City Council voted 11-3 in favor of an ordinance that bans homeless encampments within 500 feet of schools and daycare centers.
Call me crazy, but I don’t think that’s too much to ask! But apparently, in LA, it is.
The council meeting was interrupted by protesters who heckled the members and even crowded in the chambers, forcing the meeting into an hour-long recess.
The protesters accused council members of criminalizing homelessness. Excuse me, this is about the safety of children and everyday residents who shouldn’t be forced to step over homeless encampments, feces, urine and needles to enter buildings, especially SCHOOLS and DAYCARE CENTERS!
Finally, elected Democrats of LA try to make an improvement and they are met with idiotic resistance.
It’s no wonder LA is as bad as it is and it’s no wonder people are fleeing!
