Ron Paul: There’s A Reason Americans Have Given Up On Trusting The Government

Former Texas Congressman Ron Paul joins Fox Across America With guest host Harry Hurley to share his thoughts on why Americans are losing confidence in major U.S. institutions.

“When I hired people to come to work for me in a congressional office, I told the one thing. You’re going to review some legislation and give me an idea of what’s in it. I said, but you probably won’t have to go past the title because the title is going to lie to you. It’s going to say it’s going to do A, B, C.  And Building Back Better, who believes it? Thank goodness that the people have given up on trusting the government. We’re up to 80 percent now. People say, why should we believe the government? And it’s not just Democrats. They’re sick and tired of big government. And I think that is just nonsense. And I think  so many people when they campaign, the same principle applies. There’s a lot of noise, there’s a lot of propaganda, promises made. But the confidence in believing what the government tells us is undeserving. And nobody should have very much confidence in that.”

Ron also talks about how years of wasteful spending by our government led to the current position we’re in with soaring inflation. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
