FOX on Tech: Google+ For All

Google is opening up its social networking site – Google+ – to everyone.

FOX News Radio’s Lisa Lacerra reports in this “FOX on Tech”:

After 12 weeks of testing with a limited audience, Google now opening up Google+ to anyone who wants it.

During the trial period, the site – designed to compete with Facebook – was only available by invitation.  The company has added a search capability that will allow users to sift through posts, and has also made +’s “Hangouts” feature – which allows users to video chat with multiple people – available on smart phones.  And a new service, called “Hangouts on Air,” allows users to post videos online or view them as spectators.
