Las Vegas Shooting: Food Truck Owner Apologizes for “Meat Eaters” Comment

A business owner apologizing for her offensive remarks about the Las Vegas massacre.

FOX’s Krystin Goodwin has the story:

Delinda Jensen, the owner of a vegan food truck in Wilks-Barre, Pennsylvania, recently took to Facebook to post: “Yes, I am jaded. Fifty nine meat eaters dead. How many animals will live because of this?”

The 60-year-old was referring to victims of the Las Vegas shooting, insinuating, less people in the world would save more animals. The post immediately sparked furry.

Folks calling it “disgusting” and “heartless.” Jensen tells FOX 56 News it was a poor choice of words:

(Jensen) “If I had the opportunity to go to everyone of the families of these individuals that died and personally apologize, I would do it.”

Jensen has deactivated her Facebook account and shut down her food truck.
