President Trump’s Expected to End DACA Program

President Trump is expected to end another of President Obama’s programs tomorrow with a delay designed to give Congress time to act.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

The President is expected to end the executive action signed by President Obama that shields young immigrants brought into the country illegally as children by their parents from deportation.

But the current White House plan would allow a six month window before enforcement of the decision takes place, an effort to give Congress time to step in.

Several Republican leaders have been critical of President Trump’s desire to end DACA, urging the administration to let lawmakers settle the issue.
