High Court Reinstates Key Parts of Travel Ban

The Supreme Court will try to settle President Trump’s controversial travel ban, but in the meantime, much of it can take effect.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:

The Justices will hear arguments over a travel and refugee bans early in it’s next term, that starts in October, but in the interim, most of President Trump’s executive order, barring travel from people from six Muslim-majority countries, can be implemented.

There is an exception for foreign nationals with a bona fide relationship with an American individual or entity, like a family member or students studying at a U.S. university.

Three justices: Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch, said they would have allowed the entire order to take effect.
