Gorsuch: Roe v. Wade has been Decided and Reaffirmed

Day two of Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court has him fielding all kinds of questions.

FOX’s Jon Decker reports from the hearing room on Capitol Hill:

With President Trump advocating a repeal of the Supreme Court case which legalized abortion nationwide, Judge Neil Gorsuch told Senators on the Judiciary Committee that he respects the Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade:

(Gorsuch) “It is a precedent of the United States Supreme Court. It was reaffirmed in Casey in 1992 and in several other cases.”

Gorsuch also said he respects the Court’s decision in Bush v. Gore, which essentially decided the 2000 presidential election. He said he made no promises to anyone regarding how he would decide any case that may come before him.
