To the list of things Thou Shalt Not do... add 'smuggling drugs inside a Bible.'

FOX's Jack Callaghan has the story:

Having been convicted of drug trafficking, Johnson County Mississippi jail inmate Stephen Estes didn't strike his guards as especially religious. So, when he kept asking if a Bible had been dropped off for him, they were suspicious.

When his girlfriend finally dropped off the good book, they took a hard look and found something unholy. A bulge in the Bible's back cover, cut open and out spilled a powdery substance, which tested positive as methamphetamine.

Now the girlfriend, 30-year-old Courtney Ford is facing drug charges and Estes, could see his sentence of trafficking charges extended by 34 years.
