President Trump Takes on Senator Schumer & Dem. House Leader Pelosi in Twitter Battle

    The President using Twitter to call out top Democrats over Russia contacts, suggesting their criticism of him on the issue is hypocritical.

    FOX’s Jon Decker reports from the White House:

    A Twitter fight between President Trump and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer began when the President tweeted out a photo of a smiling Senator Schumer having doughnuts and coffee with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

    The President then wrote, “We should start an immediate investigation into Senator Schumer and his ties to Russia and Putin. A total hypocrite!”

    In response, Schumer took to Twitter to say he would happily talk about his contact with Putin and asked the President if he would do the same.

    The President also tweeted a 2010 photo of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi meeting with Russian officials, contradicting her earlier claim that she never met Russia’s U.S. Ambassador.
