Elton John Blames Ageism for Lack of Radio Play

Sir Elton John isn’t happy with a lot of the radio stations across the United States.

FOX’s Jacquelyn Karl reports:

Elton John’s accusing U.S. radio stations of being “ageists” and not playing his newer songs, according to the Daily Mail.

John using his album “Wonderful Crazy Night” as an example, saying, “even though it’s gotten good reviews and on Rolling Stone’s 50 best albums of 2016, it was never played.”

The Rocket Man’s last big hit in the U.S. was “Candle In The Wind” in 1997 after Princess Diana died. The singer’s released five albums since that hit and feels his newer music is being overlooked.
