A couple in Tennessee facing abuse charges involving an autistic child.

    FOX’s Pat O’Neill reports:

The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office says deputies were doing a welfare check at a home after reports that a child was being held in a cage.

They went into a bedroom and discovered a locked wooden cage with a mattress inside, along with a 10-year-old boy that they learned was autistic. They removed him and three other children found in the home.

The two adults 69-year-old Mickey Sparks and 43-year-old Patricia Lewis are being held at the county detention center, charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect.
