Patriots Cap Historic Super Bowl Comeback, Tom Brady & Bill Belichick Win Fifth Super Bowl Together

Patriots QB Tom Brady won a record five Super Bowls.

FOX’s Jared Max has more from Houston, Texas:

It was the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history. Down 28-3 with just under two minutes to play in the third quarter, the New England Patriots scored 31 unanswered points and won the first Super Bowl ever to be decided in overtime. They beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28.

Most Valuable Player Tom Brady threw for a Super Bowl record 466 yards winning his fifth Super Bowl ring, also a record for quarterbacks. Much the same for Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. With the field covered in red and blue confetti, New England owner Robert Kraft ranked this victory against his other four Super Bowl wins:

(Kraft) “This is unequivocally the sweetest.”

But some bitterness too for Tom Brady, who didn’t get to take home his game worn jersey:

(Brady) “Somebody stole my game jersey.”

Brady told USA Today, “I’ll probably see it on Ebay.”
