Putin Knocks Obama Administration in Defense of President-elect Trump

Russian President Vladimir Putin is coming to the defense of President-elect Donald Trump.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is accusing the Obama administration of trying to undermine President-elect Donald Trump by spreading what he called fake allegations.

Speaking at a news conference in Moscow, Putin dismissed as “fake” a so-called dossier on Mr. Trump which contains unverified allegations about Mr. Trump’s sexual activities at a Moscow hotel.

Putin called the people responsible for the dossier “worse than prostitutes.” Mr. Trump has rejected the allegations as “fake news”.
