Prominent Republican Joining Democrats to Solve Russian Election Hacking
A prominent Republican is joining Democrats calls for a special committee to investigate election-related cyberattacks.
FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Washington:
Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain says a special Congressional panel should be formed to look into the impact of Russian email hacks and cyberattacks targeting U.S. political organizations:
(McCain) “There’s no doubt they were interfering and no doubt that there were cyberattacks. Question now is how much and what damage and what should the United States of America do?”

Fellow Republican Lindsey Graham has also called for a special committee. Republican leader Mitch McConnell has signaled a review, but says it should and can be done by existing Senate committees.
