Mail Deadlines for the Holidays

If you still need to send holiday packages in the mail, you have a few more days to get it done.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has more:

It’s the week before Christmas and you still haven’t shipped your gifts? Well, here’s what you need to know to get your packages delivered by December 25.

U.S. Postal Service deadline for “priority mail” is Wednesday. It’s Thursday for Fedex standard overnight and UPS second day air.

Then there are some of us who like to live on the edge, procrastinators, I’m looking at you. If you’ve chosen to ignore the other “warning sign” postal deadlines, the last date you can send a package through the post office is this Friday, ask for priority mail express service. Same goes for UPS next day air users.

Fedex does have “sameday city” options on Christmas. And if you miss all those, may I suggest an emailed online gift card?
