President Obama and President-elect Donald Trump met today for the first time in the Oval office.

FOX’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:

The President and President-elect sat down together and had what President Obama called a wide ranging discussion:

(President Obama) ”Some of the organizational issues setting up a White House. We talked about foreign policy; we talked about domestic policy.”

Mr. Trump said he looks forward to working with President Obama:

(President-elect Trump) “We discussed a lot of different situations, some wonderful and some difficulties.”

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest says President Obama came away from meeting with renewed confidence in the President-elect’s commitment to smooth transfer of power.
