‘Bridgegate’ Verdict: Judge Finds Two Former Christie Allies Guilty
The verdict is in for two former NJ Gov. Chris Christie allies during the Bridgegate scandal on the George Washington Bridge.

Guilty on all nine counts, that’s the verdict from a New Jersey jury in the case of two of Republican governor Chris Christie’s aides who were on trial for using traffic jams for political retaliation.
Bridget Kelly and Bill Baroni were accused of closing access lanes to the George Washington Bridge, which connects New Jersey and Manhattan for four days in September 2013 as political retaliation for a Democratic mayor who didn’t endorse Christie’s re-election bid.
Christie has repeatedly denied any knowledge of the lane closure, but Kelly, Baroni and a third official, who has pleaded guilty in the scandal, all testified that Christie knew about the lane closings either before or while they were going on.
