9/11 Bill Most Likely will be Nixed by President Obama

The White House is reiterating a veto threat for a bill allowing 9/11 victims’ families to sue Saudi Arabia.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has more from Capitol Hill:

President Obama still plans to veto a measure allowing families of terror attack victims to sue foreign governments, press secretary Josh Earnest says:

(Earnest) “This law actually opens up the United States to risk of being hauled into court in countries around the world.”

The bill is intended to allow families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia.

Both the House and Senate approved the legislation by voice votes and without any objections. It would take 2/3’s vote from Congress to override a veto.
