Target Transgender Bathroom Debate Settled
One big box store is attempting to call a truce in the transgendered bathroom battle.
FOX’s Tom Graham explains:
After a sizable protester over target’s policy of allowing transgendered individuals to use whichever restroom they feel best corresponds with their gender, the chain now says it will add private bathrooms to its stores. The price tag? $20 million.
Most of Target’s 1800 locations already have single or unisex restrooms, but the chain will add the option to another 277 stores.
This after a group called the American Family Association claimed an online petition to boycott Target had more that 1.3 million signatures.
