Parents of Child Allegedly Given Away Facing Charges
A Pennsylvania couple has been ordered to stand trial on charges they gave away their 14-year-old daughter to a Philadelphia-area man after he helped them out financially.
FOX’s Gary Baumgarten reports:
A judge ruling there’s sufficient evidence to go ahead with the case against Daniel and Savilla Stoltzfus. They are charged with child endangerment.
This after cops say they gave their daughter to Lee Kaplan of Feasterville Pennsylvania after he financially helped the former Amish couple.
The judge also ordering Kaplan to stand trial on sexual assault charges. Prosecutors say Kaplan fathered two children with the girl, who is now 18.
Police found a dozen girls living with Kaplan.
