23-year-old Korryn Gaines was shot and killed during her 5 hour stand off with authorities.

Police arrived at her home to serve an outstanding warrant for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

She barricaded herself inside her apartment, threatened to shoot police, and also posted this conversation she had with her 5-year-old son:

    (Gaines) Who’s outside?

    (son) The police.

(Gaines) And what are they trying to do?

(son) They’re trying to kill us.

They’re trying to kill us. Well, she was fatally shot. Her son wounded but in good condition.
