Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how the GOP-led House and Senate will work in tandem to swiftly implement President-elect Trump’s agenda once he officially takes office in two weeks.
“The agenda in front of us that we’ve talked about for so many years now, he’s committed to seeing it done. Also, the members are committed to seeing it done. And so, you know, the only thing that really stops us is our ability to get it all completed in a timely fashion. But you know, you have my friend here, Kat Cammack from Florida, my friend Dusty Johnson up in South Dakota, Stephanie Bice out of Oklahoma. I’m telling America, my friend Chip Roy out of Texas. And I know some people say, oh Chip did this. I love him, hard worker. You have members who are committed to making sure this agenda is done, not to mention my colleagues on the other side of a building in the Senate. So the president wants to be consequential. We want to have a consequential Congress in the 119th that really puts the country on track. And so I would say, you know, watch us work.”
Rep. Donalds also tells Jimmy about what it was like being in the room as Vice President Kamala Harris presided over a joint session of Congress to certify the 2024 election results. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they discussed!
