Elections Correspondent for The Federalist Brianna Lyman joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on why Vice President Kamala Harris felt comfortable agreeing to an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, a sit-down that will include her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

“I think Dana Bash, I would feel insulted if I was her that the Democratic presidential nominee, thinks that I’m soft enough that she can trust me. Because as a journalist, you’re supposed to skirt both sides of the aisle. People shouldn’t ever feel comfortable with you. And the fact that Kamala Harris feels comfortable, Dana Bash, is because, if she asks a question about the border, it’s not going to be, hey, you’ve been the border czar for three years. We’ve had record high immigration. Why did this happen? It’ll be, what are your feelings on all the immigrants coming here? There’s so much joy at the border. They’re excited to be here. How does that really impact your campaign? You know, Kamala Harris has been talking about on day one, she’s going to do X, y, z. The most basic question that Dana could ask is why not do it today?”

Jimmy and Brianna also talk about their shared love of Elvis Presley. To hear what else they discussed, listen to the podcast!
