Evening Edition: Donald Trump Reveals His VP Pick

Former President Donald Trump just hours into the first day of the Republican National Convention announced he has selected 39-yeard-old Senator JD Vance of Ohio as his running mate on the 2024 ticket. Senator Vance, a former venture capitalist and the author of the best-selling memoir “Hillbilly Elegy,” was for a long time mentioned in veepstakes discussion and was formerly a Trump dissident but has become vocal supporter of the MAGA agenda.
