“The hard working people are really the ones that are now having to fight back, right? To protect themselves from a system that’s totally messed up. And who’s going to do business in New York City now? There’s so much going against you in New York City. And as a developer, why are you going to risk that? Like why? And and affordability is a problem here. Housing is a problem here. And you think developers are not going to want to come here and actually develop. There’s already enough red tape and problems.”‘
