Michigan Tyrant Governor Makes New EV Demands

Michigan Democrat tyrant Governor Gretchen Whitmer is mandating all state government vehicles go 100% electric.

Tyrant Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer is on a power trip again, literally.

Not only has she signed one of the most aggressive green energy legislative packages in the country, now she’s laying down new Big Green rules.

This time she’s serving up a mandate that all state-owned vehicles be 100% electric. This includes both traditional vehicles as well as heavy-duty ones.

Light duty state-owned vehicles will have to be 100% electric in 10 years while heavy-duty ones have until 2040 to transition.

This isn’t a win for Michigan or the environment, it’s a win for China.

Whitmer touts her demand as good for pollution but that’s actually a lie given it takes more energy and produces more pollutants to build an EV than a traditional fuel powered vehicle.

Oh, and then there’s also the fact that Michigan- much like the rest of the US- doesn’t have the charging stations or infrastructure to support these electric vehicles decrees!

Clean energy would be great, if it were useful or reliable!

Whitmer’s EV push is just another power flex and another empty virtue signal designed to appease Big Green.
