Comedian Dave Landau joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to Deadspin’s attempt to smear a young Kansas City Chiefs fan who attended Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders wearing a Native American headdress with his face painted half-black and half-red.
“This should be the exact moment where you realize this is all a lie because, okay, there’s so committed to pushing a narrative that they didn’t even mention the red half of the face. The Indian part is irrelevant now. Like that’s the part two. Like, even if he was standing to the other side, they wouldn’t have accused him of red-face. They were like, we have to immediately go with blackface. And you’re like, he’s wearing a wigwam. Like, let’s just say he’s wearing blackface. Why is he wearing a wigwam? Like, maybe Deadspin should understand culture before they want to start commenting on who’s misappropriating.”
